The right water values are dependent on the fish stock and the plants in a pond. Even if the water looks clear it can be contaminated. Bad values can cause diseases or algae in a pond. To maintain a healthy pond with conditions close to nature it is important to check and adapt the water values regularly. With JBL water tests you can determine all relevant water values quickly, easily and very precisely.
With the JBL Test Lab Koi you can easily and accurately determine all relevant water values of your pond. With the pH tests, the acidity of the water can be determined. The KH test is used to determine the carbonate hardness. Testing the nitrate value gives you information about the cause of algae. Thanks to the oxygen test, you can ensure the well-being of the pond inhabitants. The GH test helps you maintain the total hardness in an area that allows the pond to perform its biological self-cleaning. To prevent algae growth, you can perform phosphate tests and with further nitrite and ammonium tests you can ensure that there are no toxic substances for the fish.
This test case contains the most important water tests for analysis of pond water with protocol sheets, syringe and dosing spoon to measure the correct amount of water and test liquid, colour chart to compare the colours resulting in in tests and test liquids, comparator block and cuvettes for carrying out the tests.
