Bacopa caroliniana originates from the USA and has been a popular aquarium plant for many years. Aside from decent lighting, it makes few demands, and the slow rate of growth means it is one of the few stem plants that does not require very regular attention. Like most stem plants, it looks most effective when planted in small groups. Easy to propagate by cuttings; simply remove a side shoot close to the primary stem and plant it into the substrate.
