With a hardy nature and a big personality, Hawkfish are a great choice for marine aquaria.

Named after their habit of perching on the décor looking for prey, these are fish that are best kept away from tiny fishes or shrimps but are entirely trustworthy around corals.

Hawkfish tend to ignore tankmates, but a few can be territorial, so research any that take your eye before adding them to a peaceful community. They’re also capable jumpers best kept in a covered aquarium.
