The Blagdon preformed pond range is a great solution for those people who have a small space available and would like to bring it to life by adding a pond! Preformed ponds have some huge upsides to the alternative method of using pond liners like durability and creative shaping.
Key Features:
Durability
Unlike pond liners, these preformed ponds are made of rigid heavy-duty plastic meaning they are far more puncture resistant when compared to the pond liners. Good quality pond liner like Gordon Low is hard to puncture but should a rock or tree branch fall into the pond or if you carry out maintenance like clearing algae out with a rake there is always a risk of damaging the liner. Preformed ponds will withstand all general maintenance with no risk of damage.
Creative Shaping
These easy to install ponds are ideal for fish and wildlife. The sturdy design is strong enough to last a lifetime and has convenient shelving areas to place shallow water preferred plant species. The deeper areas are deep enough to over-winter fish. Blagdon offers a variety of different shapes including the Damselfly Mayfly and Dragonfly you can find the right one for you. The damselfly comes in 3 sizes, the 500, 750 and 1250.
