Refractometers & Hydrometers

Refractometers and Hydrometers are both used to measure salinity. The refractometer is the more accurate of the 2 and works on the principle of light refraction through liquids. The refracted angle will be shown on the scale to determine the amount of dissolved salt in that sample. A crucial bit of kit for any marine keeper.
