UV Clarifiers

UVC light breaks up the genetic material (DNA) of bacteria in air, water and on hard surfaces so they can no longer function or reproduce. It’s a natural germicide that has been used to disinfect hospital room surfaces, public places, money and drinking water. In aquariums, UVC light kills suspended bacteria and algae that contribute to cloudy or murky water. UVC Clarifiers and Sterilisers are slightly different, a clarifier removes bacteria and algae. A steriliser has the added benefit of also killing parasitic protozoans.
