This store is located within the Historic Welbeck estate, 4 miles south of Worksop on the A60. This very well established site has 2 restaurants as well as all the usual facilities associated with a garden centre of this size. Our shop is a separate building within the outside plant area of the garden centre. We are located opposite the Victorian green houses which have been preserved in their original glory.
The large display pond will be finished for spring 2007 and is already attracting lots of wildlife including a breeding pair of moorhens. With a feature of this size we will of course be stocking a wide selection of products for the water garden from flexible liners at very competitive prices to quality pond plants and fish. We are a major Laguna stockist with some of the most advanced labour saving pond filtration products available. Our trained staff will be happy to demonstrate and help you select the best filter unit for your pond to guarantee clear water.
Inside we have over 140 aquariums offering a fantastic selection of quality tropical and coldwater species. With livestock deliveries arriving frequently, please phone for details of what is due in, staff will be more than happy to try to meet any special requests. We take great pride in the quality of our aquarium plants and import some of the finest available from Holland. In our 850 litre sales tank devoted to aquarium plants we can hold over 200 potted plants with up to 45 varieties in stock at any one time. Please phone for current stock as turnover can be frequent. Special orders are welcome and there are over 150 species available so please ask. At The Dukeries we are devoting around 30 aquariums to African Cichlids. Our range includes many mbuna and haplochromine species. These wonderfully coloured and very active fish can be very easy to keep. Under the guidance of our staff you can keep your own fantastic display at home or in the office.
