Maidenhead Aquatics was established in 1984 and is now the UK’s largest leading specialist aquatic retailer with stores throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. We employ over 500 members of staff and our aim is to help experienced enthusiasts and newcomers to develop their hobby.

In order to continue this aim, in new and existing stores alike, we work continuously to develop teams of staff within our branches that are trained to the highest possible standards. As the largest and fastest growing aquatic specialists in the UK we are always looking for keen and enthusiastic people to join these teams.

All levels of experience are considered when recruiting new team members although some fish-keeping experience is encouraged.

Full time vacancies will be available- applicants must be enthusiastic and trustworthy along with having an excellent duty of care towards livestock. Some experience with tropical fish/ponds and retail experience would be preferential but not essential. We expect this to be another busy store and working in a team is an integral part of the position.

We have a store management position at our Worthing Findon, West Sussex. It is a great opportunity to run this very busy and rewarding store.

The applicant must have an interest in fish keeping with some knowledge of the hobby (including marines) and experience of retail work, although full training will be given. The role will include the day to day running of the store, the overseeing and ordering of stock (both livestock and dry goods), business management, managing staff and handling customer queries.

Maidenhead Aquatics are delighted to announce the arrival of their first Scottish store - due to open late August. As a result we have a wide number of staffing positions available at all levels from part time all the way up to managerial.

This is an fantastic opportunity to join the UK's largest specialist aquatic retailer at this exciting time as we expand into Scotland. As a company run by hobbyists for hobbyists, all staff are expected to have the same passion for fish that we do! The ideal candidates would be knowledgeable and with some form of retail experience - preferably within the aquatics industry - although full training would be provided. Good customer service skills and a friendly, enthusiastic personality are a must.
